What's New and Interesting.....

Winter 2007 -2008

We survived the holidays and still have a super selection of American made crafts.  You don't have to worry about lead paint of anything like that!   So help us support American craftsmen like Andy Brinkley, who made the copper sailboat to the left.

Here is one of Beaufort's own treasures, Carroll Kay, weaver extraordinaire.  We always have a nice selection of Carroll's creations to choose from.

We are very proud to now have the work of Gregory Pyra of Art Zone  at The Craftseller.  The designs are evocative of nature using gemstones, amber and pearls set in sterling and 18K gold.  Gregory's work is in collections world-wide and in some of the finest galleries in the USA.  We can't wait for you to see this jewelry in person!

Now here's an idea!  Cook a whole chicken or a Coq Au Vin in this cute ceramic chicken cooker from Anthony Stoneware.  In the Spring we visited Paul and Tim at their studio beside a rushing mountain stream on the side of Mt. Mitchell in NC.  It is truly a beautiful spot and inspires great creativity...and delicious, moist chicken!

Janet Zug's hanging amphora vases in a rainbow of colors make the perfect gift all year round.

Krista Brooks brings us a delightful collection of pet prints for every breed.  Ask for Retro Pets!

We have a fabulous selection of Leaf Leather handbags and leather accessories.  Each one is unique and falls into the "How did they do that??!!!" category. We might not look like two old boaters, but here's a shot of the Captain and Crew at a recent Art Walk.

Beaufort, SC.......

A great place to visit in the winter!
